3-5-2009 Team Curacao Marine sailing the D-Trip a Grand Soleil 43 got 1st place at Antigua Sailing Week 2009 in Division A, racing class 4. This class was the most compettative class with two Club Swan's 42 yachts, two J 120, a Farr 40, two 40.7, a J 122 and more. Whole week there were strong winds from 17-27 knots. 23-10-2008 We can proudly announce that the Contest 60CS is nominated for European Yacht of the Year 2009. The Award Journalists from eleven European magazines are going to elect their favourite yachts, after exhaustive evaluating, measuring, testing and discussing all the criteria of the nominated ships. The accolade "European Yacht of the Year" has an exemplary function as inspiration for the shipyards, never to pause in their ambition to build fascinating sailboats. There are awards galore. But only one accolade is so significant, so international and so coveted as the title 'European Yacht of the Year'.
20-10-2008 D-Trip Winner of the 41th Int. Bonaire Regatta 2008 Team Curacao Marine with captain Sergey Boer, sailing the D-Trip a Grand Soleil 43, took all prices back home to Curacao winning all prices once again at the 41th International Bonaire Regatta 2008. Chamba II is once again winner in the Racing Class II. The traditional round the Island race scheduled for monday was sailed on the lay-day (wednesday) beacause of better wind forecast up to 20-25 knots. All the other days the wind was between 5-13 kn. The two new Hanse 630's didn't perform well, they finished disapointing last places. 25-10-2007 Curacao Marine 1010 Champions of the 40th International Bonaire Regatta 2007 5 bullets and 1 2nd place was more than enough to become the overall champion of the 40th International Bonaire Regatta
12-3-2008 1st Contest 60cs Launched in Medemblik the Netherlands. Already more in building stage. QUOTE By Contest Yachts: MADE IN MEDEMBLIK ! Wij zijn zeer trots dat na een ontwikkel- en bouwtijd van ruim anderhalf jaar dinsdag 04 maart 2008 op de kade bij Conyplex BV, de eerste Contest 60CS te water is gegaan. De Contest 60CS is met een lengte van 62ft het nieuwe vlaggenschip. De komende weken wordt het zeiljacht uitvoerig getest en volledig klaar gemaakt voor de nieuwe eigenaar. In aanloop naar de overdracht zal het zeiljacht nog diverse keren door de Medemblikker haven varen. Van dit nieuwe type zijn inmiddels al zes jachten verkocht.
22-7-2008 Curacao Marine 1010 wins Curacao Heineken Regatta Fun Run 1st in class and 1st overall. 2nd Place in racing class was for a J24 Merlin, 3rd J24 Chamba II, and 4th Grand Soleil 43 D-trip.
